Wax Digital selected for finals of IM2003 Awards
Wax Digital's Transaxions implementation for Xerox Document Supplies Europe (XDSE) has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious Information Management Awards 2003.
The Information Management Awards are the premier industry recognition
of excellence and innovation in the management of business information
and knowledge in an e-business environment. The success criteria are the
delivery of significant and definable business benefits, as well as innovation
and originality.
XDSE has implemented Wax Digital Transaxions to integrate the exchange of transactional documents with customers across 15 European countries.

Transaxions allows XDSE to offer its entire customer
base, regardless of location or the nature of their back-end systems,
the opportunity to integrate with minimal IT overhead and no cost. In
so doing it revolutionises trade across the value chain, creating a platform
for data exchange that is completely system agnostic.
Transaxions is already in operation across 8 of XDSE's European markets, delivering very significant cost and labour savings, and we are hoping that this success helps us go one better than last year where our POD solution for Hagemeyer UK received the Runner's Up prize.  Wax Digital

The managed and hosted Transaxions solution facilitates point-to-point integration regardless of disparate systems and message formats, allowing trading partners to leverage existing applications and integrate rapidly and cost-effectively.
A secure online engagement centre allows XDSE customers to register and dictate their preferred message formats, track the implementation process and then generate management reports, view document audits and monitor system performance.
Transaxions was entered for the B2B Commerce Project Award and has already beaten off strong competition to reach the final round. The Awards categories represent the leading edge of new technology and being selected as a finalist marks entrants out as true leaders in their field.
The winners in each category will be announced at the IM2003 dinner on 4th December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
