Ceva Logistics chooses Wax Digital global sourcing solution
Wax Digital today announced that it has contractually agreed to supply a global eSourcing solution to CEVA, one of the world's leading integrated logistics providers.
The
new system will deliver significant business benefit for CEVA worldwide, automating
the strategic sourcing process through innovative technologies; from creating
and managing electronic tender documents to holding online auction events.
Drawing on Wax Digital's technology and expertise, CEVA expects to drive best-value on goods and services sourced across the enterprise, and to realise considerable process efficiencies and transparencies throughout the sourcing lifecycle.

With a benchmark of excellence throughout all CEVA's business activities, an extensive due diligence process was undertaken by the Central Strategic Procurement team. This team determined that Wax Digital's 'On Demand' model, twinning ease of system use and breadth of functionality, was the best solution for CEVA.
Deployment of the Wax Digital solution commences initially with CEVA's Central Strategic Procurement team, who will work with Wax Digital to share best-practice and develop their specialist skills with the new system. CEVA will then deploy the system to its 'One Logic' global procurement community, maximising results and the enhancing systems, processes and skills at all levels.
