Do I need a medical background?+
No. We accept both medical and non-medical backgrounds. Most attendees are nurses, HCAs, audiologists, pharmacists and other allied health professionals, but we also welcome career changers, complementary therapists and anyone with the right to work in the UK.
What pre-learning do I get before the course?+

You cover ear anatomy, conditions, infection control, consent and the theory behind all three removal methods before you arrive.
Is the course accredited?+

Do I need prior wax removal experience?+
No. We teach from the ground up. Some clinical familiarity (otoscope handling, infection control basics) helps you get the most out of the day, but you don't need to have done wax removal before.

Roughly half the day. After morning theory, you spend the afternoon on supervised microsuction, irrigation and manual instrumentation. You don't leave until you've done all three.
